• Copy of the head of a marble statue; the middle of the body and right foot also survive.
• The statue:
  • is known as the Blond Boy because traces of yellow-brown paint were found on the hair.
  • is a Greek original of about 490-480 BC.
  • was found on the Athens Acropolis, north east of the museum, in 1887.
  • is now in Athens, Acropolis Museum 689.
