Kleobis.

• Plaster cast: Height: 2.36m.
• Copy of one of a pair of marble statues representing the brothers Kleobis and Biton.
• The statues:
  • are Greek originals of about 580 BC.
  • are inscribed with the names of the brothers, and the signature of the sculptor [Poly?]medes of Argos.
  • were found at Delphi, north-west of the Athenian Treasury.
  • are now in Delphi Museum, 467 (statue of Kleobis) and 980 (plinth).
